Cameroonian Fashion Designers (Part II)





Cameroonian fashion celebrates creativity, culture, and individuality. The designers featured in Part II blend tradition with modern style, preserving Cameroon’s heritage while helping bring African fashion to the world.






Anna Ngann Yonn

Anna Ngann Yonn, from Sanaga-Maritime, is a Cameroonian designer and pattern maker who graduated from ESMOD Paris in 1995. She gained experience through internships with renowned fashion houses, including Atsuro Tayama, Paco Rabanne, and Issey Miyake. After returning to Cameroon, she launched her Kreyann brand and opened her showroom in Douala in 1998.




A Fashion Visionary

Anna Ngann Yonn gained international exposure through the Face of Africa event, showcasing her designs in Abuja, Cape Town, and Sun City between 1999 and 2001. She later collaborated with Vlisco on a collection for the Uniwax calendar and designed for the Miss Central Africa contest. Her work was also featured in Couleurs et Toiles, and she showcased at the Labo Ethnic Fashion Show in Paris from 2008 to 2010.
